Q. How much does a luxury wedding cake cost?
A. All my wedding cakes are individually designed and made to order and therefore they are each priced according to your requirements.  You can see my price guide here which gives the starting price for basic styles.

Q. How much cake will I need to feed my guests?
A. I can make suggestions on the amount of cake you need based on the number of guests attending your wedding and the number of tiers you would like.

Q.  What flavour cakes can I have?
A.  I have a menu of classic flavours and premium flavours.  If there is a particular flavour you would like and it is not on my menu, please ask as I am happy to make other flavours too.  You can see my flavour menu here.

Q. Can I have different flavours for each tier of cake?
A. Of course, in fact I would encourage you to do so, we all have our favourites so why not indulge your guests.

Q. Can we try your cakes before we book?
A. Yes, if you wish to have a Cake Taster Box prior to booking my services there is a fee of £30 which includes tasting 6 flavours of cake.  This charge is deducted from your final invoice once you have booked your wedding cake.

Q. How far in advance should I order my wedding cake?
A. Many couples like to book their cake as soon as they have their date set and venue confirmed, so I can get booked up far in advance.  I would suggest you contact me as soon as possible to secure your date.  I am happy to take late bookings if I have the date available.

Q. Can you cater for those with food allergies?
A. I can bake gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan cakes.  However, I do bake in a kitchen that uses nuts, dairy and gluten, so cannot guarantee that your cake is free of these items.

Q. Do you deliver and set up the cake on my wedding day?
A. Yes, I will deliver your cake to your venue and add any final details such as fresh flowers, leaving your beautiful wedding cake displayed to perfection.  I charge a delivery fee based on the distance from my studio to the venue.  This will be itemised on your booking invoice, so there’s no nasty last-minute surprises.

Q. Can you make favours for my wedding guests?
A. Yes, I can make personalised iced biscuits, marshmallows, or mini boxes of chocolates with your choice of flavours. There are a few ideas for wedding favours here.

Q. What contract is put in place when I book The Mouse & The Cake to make my wedding cake?
A. You will be sent a copy of the Terms & Conditions of Sale with your Booking Fee Invoice, please ensure you read them thoroughly prior to paying the Booking Fee.  You can see the Terms & Conditions here

Q. Do you deliver to areas outside of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire?
A. Yes, I am happy to deliver to all areas and I have experience taking wedding cakes from my studio in Oxfordshire to the Highlands of Scotland.  However, additional delivery charges will apply, and if necessary, overnight accommodation charges.
